My New Journey in 2025
December 24th, 2024 at 12:00 PM • Personal • 3 min read

Ah, 2024, what a rollercoaster of a year you were! A year filled with lessons, some regrets, and a wake-up call for what truly matters. But hey, what’s life without a little rant, right? As I close the chapter on 2024, I’m stepping into 2025 with a fresh mindset, new priorities, and a whole lot of hope. Let me take you through my plans for this new journey—because this year, I’m determined to make it count.
The First Thing: Health Over Everything
Let’s address the elephant in the room. Or rather, the one in my mirror. 2024 wasn’t kind to my body. A string of illnesses and a creeping waistline left me feeling not-so-great about myself. But 2025? It’s my year to flip the script. My body deserves more than just occasional attention; it deserves consistent care. I’m talking better eating habits, regular workouts, and enough sleep—you know, the basics that we all ignore until our bodies scream at us. No more excuses. This time, health is going to be my priority, not an afterthought.
Learning a New Language: Japanese, Here I Come!
I’ve always loved the idea of learning a new language, and for now, I’m diving into Japanese. It’s a challenge, sure, but it’s also exciting. Being able to understand, speak, and (eventually) read Japanese is a goal that’s both practical and fun. I’ve already started, dedicating some time daily to kanji, grammar, and listening practice. If you see me mumbling random Japanese phrases, just know I’m in my learning zone.
Cutting Down Screen Time: Insta Detox, Anyone?
Now, let’s talk about the black hole that is Instagram. My 2024 Insta feed? Pure. Brain. Rot. It’s a constant dopamine rush that’s left my attention span in shambles. Scrolling mindlessly for hours? Guilty. But no more. This year, I’m hitting the brakes on my screen time. It’s time to detox from the endless reels and give my mind a much-needed breather. Maybe I’ll replace that time with actual hobbies or, you know, going outside.
Money Matters: Getting Financially Literate
If there’s one thing I’ve been putting off, it’s learning how to manage my money. With my dad and brother being commerce wizards, I have the perfect mentors at home. 2025 will be the year I start investing in stocks and brushing up on financial basics. It’s time to understand the jargon that used to make my head spin. No more avoiding conversations about money—I’m ready to take control of my finances.
Electronics: My Next Big Adventure
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming next. 2025 is also going to be my year to dive into the world of electronics. There’s something fascinating about understanding how things work at a fundamental level, and I can’t wait to get started. But hey, that’s a story for my next blog, so stay tuned!
Wrapping It Up
So there it is—my plans for 2025. A year of prioritizing health, expanding my skills, and detoxing from bad habits. I’m not promising perfection (because let’s be real, life isn’t Instagram-worthy all the time), but I am promising progress. And progress is all that matters.
Until the next blog, bie bie!
